Novalux Property Ltd
1. About Us
Novalux Property Ltd (Company No. 15937317) is a private limited company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 24 High Street, Pateley Bridge, Harrogate, HG3 5JU.
Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Novalux Property Ltd trading as Novalux Property.
“You” refers to the lead guest making the booking and all members of your party.
2. Booking Structure
Novalux Property operates under different ownership and management arrangements:
In some cases, we own and operate the property directly.
In some cases, we manage the property on behalf of the owner.
In some cases, we act solely as booking agent for the owner.
Where we act as agent, the contract for your stay is between you and the property owner, and we act on their behalf in managing bookings and communication.
A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued.
Bookings may not be made by persons under 18 years of age.
All properties are provided for short-term holiday accommodation only and must not be used for parties, events or commercial purposes unless expressly agreed in writing.
3. Payment Terms (Direct Website Bookings)
For bookings made directly through our website:
Full payment is required 14 days prior to the check-in date.
Bookings made within 14 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking where payment has not been received by the due date.
Bookings made via third-party platforms are subject to the payment and cancellation policies of that platform.
4. Cancellations (Direct Website Bookings)
All cancellations must be made in writing.
For direct bookings:
Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 10 working days.
We strongly recommend that guests obtain appropriate travel insurance.
Bookings made via third-party platforms are subject to that platform’s cancellation policy.
5. Pets
Pets are permitted in selected properties only and must be agreed at the time of booking.
Where pets are allowed:
Guests remain fully responsible for their pet at all times.
Pets must not be left unattended in the property unless agreed in advance.
Any damage, excessive cleaning or additional wear caused by pets will be charged accordingly.
Where a property is not listed as pet-friendly, pets are strictly prohibited.
6. Guest Responsibilities
You agree that you and all members of your party will:
Leave the property in a clean and reasonable condition.
Report any damage or breakages during your stay.
Not exceed the stated maximum occupancy.
Respect neighbours and avoid excessive noise.
Not host parties or events unless expressly agreed.
Not smoke inside the property.
Comply with check-in and check-out times.
Secure the property when leaving.
Failure to comply may result in early termination of your stay without refund and may result in additional charges.
7. Damage & Additional Charges
Guests are responsible for any damage beyond reasonable wear and tear.
Where damage, excessive cleaning, rule breaches or loss occur, we reserve the right to charge the lead guest for the reasonable cost of repair, replacement or remediation.
8. Cancellations by Us
In exceptional circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including safety concerns, property damage or force majeure), we may need to cancel a booking.
Where this occurs, we will offer alternative accommodation where possible or provide a full refund of monies paid.
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the booking.
9. Complaints
If you experience any issue during your stay, you must notify us promptly to allow us the opportunity to resolve it.
Complaints raised after departure may limit our ability to investigate.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to this, we are not liable for:
Loss of personal belongings
Events outside our reasonable control
Indirect or consequential losses
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
